The harmony of aesthetics, motion, storytelling, and usability coming together in the digital space has always been a source of inspiration for me. Starting as a web designer in 2000 and progressing through domestic agencies, international agencies, and large corporations, my journey has been filled with challenges and failures. However, it is my deep trust and passion for 'digital design' that have brought me to where I am today.

As the saying goes, 'simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.' Creating impression-inspiring digital designs requires meticulous design and effort across various elements. This process is not easy, but the satisfaction and expertise gained from the end result are invaluable.

Even with over 20 years of experience, the opportunity to teach reminded me that there is always more to learn. Despite running a company, the urgency to keep advancing led me to pursue a master's and a doctoral degree at a later stage in life. I wanted to study a field that would benefit my company and explore a domain that was gaining attention, leading me naturally to study '3D interfaces.'

Surprisingly, despite the intuitive nature of 3D interfaces, most users who are familiar with 2D interfaces initially find 3D challenging and tend to revert to 2D. However, the unique appeal and immersion that 3D brings are undeniable.

2D, 3D, 4D, and beyond, each dimension and medium holds its own charm and significance. Digital designers are tasked with conveying information beautifully, effectively, and tailored to the user, depending on the purpose and medium. Exploring new methods of design is always challenging, but in the end, it proves the simple truth of creating 'impression’.
